The weather is warming up and prom season is just around the corner!  For a rundown on how to get that “prom perfect” skin, Teen Vogue consulted A-List facialist Joanna Vargas. According to Vargas, if you want “a pristine complexion, you’ll need to plan accordingly!” because “good skin doesn’t happen overnight”. Here’s a couple of great suggestions from Joanna on how to prep your skin for prom.

Four weeks before:

This is the time you should start to be “more diligent with your beauty routine”. “It’s important to be exfoliating at least twice week” Vargus says. Her favorite scrub for teens is our Citrus Exfoliating Face Wash.

One Week Before:

“This is the perfect time for a full body exfoliation to really get glowing”. She recommends our Coconut Sugar Scrub.

Even if prom isn’t your thing – it’s important to remember that a good skincare routine is vital for a healthy, glowing complexion. In the words of Joanna Vargas – “your skin is a reflection of both your mental and physical health as well as the products that you’re putting on and taking off of it on a daily basis”. Now that’s great skin advice!
