We could name a thousand things we love about beauty, but one of our favorite things are the trends. In fashion, we often feel like the best trend is no trend at all, but in beauty, experimentation is part of the fun. Sometimes, trying new trends is less about purchasing the newest product formula and more about trying new color combinations. So, let’s talk about five of the coolest color trends for spring 2017.
Spring 2017 Beauty Color Trends
Color Trend #1: Brown
How to Wear It: On your lips! It may sound very 90s, but brown lips are back and it looks amazing on every single skin tone. From chocolate to pinky nudes, brown is every where you turn. Our trick to wearing this trend without going overboard is to choose a shade that is slightly darker than your natural lip color.
Try this: Lisa PureMoist Lipstick; add a subtle pink to the lipstick by layering Pink Lip Pencil or Forever Pink Just Kissed Lip and Cheek Stain underneath it.

How to Wear It: Peach is one of our favorite colors for spring because you can wear it all over your face in both matte and shimmery textures. If you want to try this monochromatic look, we recommend creating a subtle gradient peach eye makeup look and then keep your cheeks and lips natural with just a hint of color.
Try this: Peaches & Cream Bronzer; mix and match the four peachy shades to create different eye makeup and blush looks.

How to Wear It: We like to give our complexion and overall glowy effect by creating a smokey mauve eye makeup look. Create this simple look by applying a light mauve shade to the lid, then adding drama with a darker wine tone or even a deep brown. You can also use a mauve nail polish for the perfect transitional manicure for spring.
Try this: Soft Kiss PurePressed Eye Shadow Triple; this eye shadow trio has all the necessary shades required to create the perfect mauve smokey eye look.
How to Wear It: We’ve said it before, but blue eye makeup is the IT trend this spring, and we promise it can be chic and completely work appropriate. Our favorite way to add a little blue to our look is to line our bottom lash line with blue eyeliner.
Try this: Midnight Blue Eye Pencil; read this blog post to find out how real women wear blue eye makeup.

How to Wear It: Can you say blush explosion? No, we aren’t talking about the woeful moment when you accidentally drop your blush while multi-tasking in the morning. This is a playful way of describing our favorite spring trend, draping. What is draping? It’s a technique that uses blush instead of bronzer to contour.
Try this: Susan PureMoist Lipstick and Pink Quartz PurePressed Eye Shadow Triple; go all out by pairing your rosy cheeks with a touch of pink to the eye and lips.
